Gateway Preschool is a privately owned outreach program of Gateway Church of Visalia. Our purpose is to provide a caring, nurturing and safe place for children between the ages of two through pre-Kindergarten. Our classroom provides your child with unique learning opportunities which enable the children to grow emotionally, socially, intellectually, physically and spiritually using their natural abilities, interests and temperaments to develop positive feelings about themselves and their world. Registration for 2026-2027 school year opens 2/16

Hours of Operation

The preschool is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM for full day children and 8:30 AM - 11:45 AM for half day children and 7:30 AM-3:30 PM for partial day children. The following are a list of important and non-preschool dates.

  • Tuesday, August 11, 2026: Meet & Greet Open House for all families & children 5-6pm
  • Thursday, August 13, 2026: First Day of Preschool for 2026-2027 school year.
  • Friday, November 20, 2026: Thanksgiving Potluck 10-11:30am
  • Friday, December 18, 2026: Christmas Party 3-5pm
  • February 1-12, 2027: Priority registration for current preschool families for 2027-2028 school year.
  • Friday, February 12, 2027: Parent Conferences
  • Monday, February 15, 2027: Registration for 2027-2028 school year opens to the community
  • Wednesday, March 3, 2027: Muffins in the Morning 7:30-9am
  • Friday, May 28, 2027: End of the Year Celebration 10-11:30am
  • June 7, 2027- July 30, 2027: Summer Session
  • Thursday, August 12,2027: First day of 2027-2028 School year.

Registration Information

Registration for enrollment opens in February for the upcoming fall, but is ongoing until the preschool is full. Please contact the director for more information on availability. Children must be 2 years old on the start date.

Registration Steps:

  1. Complete online Registration Form (Contact our preschool director for the direct link) and pay $125 registration fee, non-refundable.
  2. Complete, sign and turn in parent packet documents to Gateway Church office at 1100 S Sowell St, Visalia, CA 93277.
  3. Director confirms enrollment and start date.
