The Experience Director/Pastor will use his/her talents and abilities to plan and execute the Thursday night and Sunday services at GateWay Church. The position is directly responsible to the Lead Pastor.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience leading full-time within the local church.
• Proven leadership skills in recruiting and training teams.
• Knowledge and experience leading worship and creative arts.
• A clear theological perspective on the function of the local church.
• Able to lead the church in worship as needed is a bonus, but not a requirement.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee the service planning and execution of Thursday Night Service and 3 Sunday morning services.
• Oversee the audio/visual, broadcast, worship, and prayer teams.
• Provide spiritual leadership and vision for the Creative Arts Department, both employees and volunteers.
• Recruit and develop multiple musicians, teams, and volunteers in every department to execute excellence in GateWay services and presentations.
• Maintain the Worship Arts budget.
• Maintain multiple lines of communication between techs, musicians, interns, and volunteers.
• Participate in church-wide events such as Christmas Carnival, Easter Egg Hunt, VBS, Volunteer Appreciation, Stick Around Sunday, and Ministry Fair.
• Other tasks were assigned by the supervisor.

Hours:

• Salaried / Full Time: $65,000 - $75,000 based on experience
