A. The church is located in Visalia, California at the corner of Tulare Avenue and Sowell Street. The Address is 1100 S Sowell St, Visalia, CA 93277.
Q2. What time is service?
A. We currently have one in-person Sunday service at 10:30am with the worship band. Our service lasts about 45 minutes. We know in this season many are be cautious, so we made it easy for you to choose your experience and let us know if you are coming in-person or online!
Q3. How are you keeping safe during COVID-19?
A. At Gateway, the safety and well-being of our congregation is a high priority. We encourage our church family to wear masks at all times while on campus and follow the recommended CDC guidelines. Here are 3 ways you can help: 1) If you have experienced symptoms of illness in the last 7-10 days, please join us for worship online. 2) While on campus, please wear a mask. 3) Please bring your own lawn or beach chair.
Q4. What should I wear?
A. If you would like to dress up you certainly can, however, it isn't necessary. At Gateway, we believe the most important part about Sunday morning is showing up ready to worship God. So, come comfortable and casual or come dressed up; the choice is yours. Simply put, you are welcome to come just as you are.
Q5. Do I have to be a Christian to attend?
A. No! We encourage people who are learning about their faith to attend Gateway. And if you have questions about what it means to be a Christian, we are more than happy to provide you with the resources you need to develop your faith.
Q6. Do you have different worship styles?
A. Currently, our in-person 10:30am service has music led by the worship band. However, for our online services we are able to offer two styles of worship. Our 8:30am service has more traditional style hymns with our Choir & Orchestra and the 10:30am service includes more contemporary music from our Worship Band.
Q7. Is there something for my kids?
A. At Gateway, we love kids! Each week, at our outdoor service we provide cliboards with kids resources & crayons. While we are not offering any childcare during service, we encourage kids to join their families in the main service. We are also offering a kid's service online at 9:45am. To go along with these services, each month our Children's Ministry Team puts together a free Kidbox
with activity sheets and crafts.
